As is vividly shown in the picture, a dinosaur is walking in the desert while one bird is walking after it and another bird flying over it. The meaning the picture intends to illustrate is: following one’ footsteps, you will never surpass him; being yourself and dare to innovate will be your best choice.
Innovation is an inexhaustible source of motive power for the development of a nation, and a necessary quality for the growth of a man. Stendhal, a great French realistic writer, says that a talented man will never follow common people’s way of thinking. Without innovation, Steve Jobs would not have built up Apple which has now become one of the most competitive companies, which makes the most popular mobile phones in the world. There is no doubt in saying that without innovation, we will lack the competence we need to have a foothold in society.
Therefore, only through innovation can we make ourselves competent and competitive. It is high time that we set our mind free and stride forward to make ourselves join the stream of innovation.
