常规单词积累一定要集中在2016考研英语复习的前期，否则后面无论阅读复习还是翻译复习的开展都会有困难。同时，考研英语单词记忆不能只记中文释义，要掌握其常见用法，固定搭配，并且在能力范围内利用词根触类旁通。
★ commodity
n.(pl.)日用品;商品;农/矿产品;有用之物
【例1】A person, like a commodity, needs packaging; But going too far is absolutely undesirable.人如商品要包装，但切忌过分包装。
【例2】Time is our most valuable commodity.时间是最有价值之物。

【例1】Mental acts comprise thinking, planning, devising.思想活动包括思考、计划与设计。

【构词】com-(一起)+pris(=take，抓)+e→一起抓→包含
